Based in Omagh, Co. Tyrone RJ Woodland Services Limited are a private forestry company providing a complete range of woodland services throughout Northern Ireland. Our clients range from farmers and small private landowners to large private estates and public bodies.
We offer a comprehensive range of professional services connected to all forms of woodland management. We offer a full range of forest management and contracting services to woodland owners and aim to provide the highest quality of service.
We are members of the Confederation of Forest Industries (ConFor), The Royal Forestry Society (RFS) and British Horse Loggers.

Our Services
Forest Establishment & Maintenance
We can help with the initial design & landscaping of your new woodland. We complete grant applications and consult with the Forest Service & other relevant bodies on our client’s behalf.
Forest Harvesting
We offer a thinning service using our own equipment, which operates extremely well a thinning environment. Our 8.5 tonne excavator based harvester fells and processes the selected stems reducing damage to the remaining crop.
Horse Logging
We also use horses for the extraction of timber. Known as Horse Logging, the horses are able to extract timber from sites that are environmentally sensitive or unsuitable for machines due to steep slopes/soft ground etc. There are currently only 2 horse loggers operating in Northern Ireland.
Forest Management
We offer comprehensive forest management services to ensure the continued health and productivity of your forested land. Our team of experts will work with you to develop a tailored management plan that takes into account your specific goals and objectives, whether it’s preserving natural habitats, maintaining recreational access, or maximizing timber yields.
